Rodgers leads Packers to improbable 4th quarter comeback

"From the cart, to the locker room and back on the field" that was the story of Aaron Rodgers as he led the Green Bay Packers to one of the most dramatic 4th quarter comebacks in NFL history. Rodgers, who had to be carted off the field in the first half because of a unhealed knee injury, put weight on just one leg throughout the second half, but still managed to throw for 286 yards and 3 touchdowns. Their opponent, the Chicago Bears, also had a star of the game. Khalil Mack, a defensive end who was traded form Oakland just last week, became the first player since 1982 to tally a sack, interception, fumble, fumble recovery and touchdown in one half. Perhaps the biggest play came with 2:13 left in the 4th quarter. Rodgers waited for the play to develop, and then fired a strike to wide receiver Randall Cobb who then took it to the house, breaking 4 tackles on the way. The extra point by Mason Crosby put the Packers ahead 24-23, eventually giving them the win and a lot of momentum heading into week 2.

Next week, the Packers take on the Vikings at home while the Bears also play at home, squaring off against the Seahawks on Monday night football.
