About 

At the age of 12, I began in what has become a passion for sports & writing, working with Sports Illustrated Kids as part of the Kid Reporter Program. It was there that I learned the basics of sports media; things as simple as AP rules, to the complicated elements of structuring feature stories. From there I took those skills into a contributing writer position with Horns Illustrated, starting out as a feature writer, and eventually becoming the beat writer for baseball, women's basketball and other UT sports. Taking the concept of Horns Illustrated, I helped co-found True To The Cru, a comprehensive media outlet covering athletics 24/7 at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas, in October of 2020. It has been a joy getting to cover the Cru so closely, and become part of the D-III community.

I have also been blessed to be a regular contributor during the spring to College Baseball Nation since 2020, a contributor to Sports Spectrum, and a feature writer/panelist for D3football.com and D3hoops.com since 2021. 

 

Through writing, interviewing and storytelling, I aim to glorify God, and elevate those who I get the chance to cover and interact with. I love the idea of being able to "tell the stories behind the score".
