From the sidelines week 6: College Football edition

Week 6 is set to be a great week of college football from the Red River Showdown in Dallas to a battle on the East Coast between Notre Dame and Virginia Tech, a lot of great football is set to be played. According to ESPN's college pick'ems slate, here is my most confident, least confident and best game for week 6.

Least Confident: Texas over Oklahoma, 11:00 am ct, ABC

The Horns have surprised us twice this season and very well could do it again. The defense, led by senior linemen Breckyn Hager and Gary Johnson, shut out Kansas State in the first half last week, so holding the Sooner offense to a max of 14 first half points should be doable for one of the best defenses in the Big 12. Meanwhile, Sam Ehlingher will continue to be a duel-threat, running or passing, but Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray can do the same. He is fast, accurate and a handful for every team that has faced him so far. It will be a close one in Dallas, but unlike last year where the Horns were on the losing end, they get a 34-33 win in 2018 and take home the Golden Hat.

Most Confident: Auburn over Mississippi State, 6:30 ct, ESPN2

The Tigers have looked strong despite not having their leading rusher from last season, Kerryon Johnson, and the Bulldogs from Mississippi State have not. After dropping a game to Kentucky on the road, 28-7, they went back home and lost again, this time to unranked Florida, 13-6. With the way Auburn's defense plays, I think they can handle this Mississippi State offense pretty well and roll to an easy win in week 6.

Best Game: LSU over Florida, 2:30 ct, CBS

Presently, I see this as a game that really should make an huge impact in both of these teams' seasons moving forward. LSU came into this season with Head Coah Ed Orgeron on the hot seat, a quarterback who was untested and a team that nobody expected much out of. Well, it's week 6 and the Tigers have proven everyone wrong, going 5-0, 2-0 in SEC play and tied with Alabama in the SEC West standings! At the same time, Florida hasn't disappointed either, with their only loss coming to #13 Kentucky. Since that loss they are 3-0 and come into this matchup with home field advantage on their side. I'm going to take the Tigers of LSU, however, as Joe Burrow and the offense do just to much for Florida to pull out a win.
