From the sidelines week 3: College Football edition

According to ESPN's college picke'em's slate, here is my most confident game, least confident game and game of the week to watch. This week we've also included our contributor's picks!

Least confident: Notre Dame over Vanderbilt

Like Texas v.s USC, and TCU v.s Ohio State, this game is also a toss-up. Notre Dame's 24-16 win last week over Ball State turned some heads after they had an impressive showing while defeating Michigan in their season opener. Notre Dame will have the home field advantage in this one, but don't be surprised if Vanderbilt contends or even pulls off the win. QB Kyle Shurmur has looked strong in the first two games of the season so the differecne in this game will really come down to the QB play. If Brandon Wimbush plays the way he did against the Michigan, the Irish will run away with it. However, if Shurmur is atop his game, expect a close one in South Bend.

Most confident: Oklahoma over Iowa State

The way the Sooners have slung the ball around against UCLA and FAU has proven to be the difference in those games as will be the case in this one. Yes, the Cyclones got the upset win over Oklahoma in 2017, but Kyler Murray is a dynamic runner and passer who will be without a doubt, Iowa State's biggest challenge on defense.

Best Game: TCU over Ohio State

I did pick TCU to win here, but it will definitely be close considering both teams have so much talent on either side of the ball. QB Dwayne Haskins has looked solid in his first two games as Ohio State's #1 QB. Coming into week 3, he has accumulated a 73% completion rate along with 9 touchdowns and 1 interception. TCU relys mostly on their defense led by senior stalwarts Ty Summers (4 solo tackles, 1 sack) and Ridwan Issahaku (8 tackles, 1 interception). The biggest question will be: Can TCU get their offense going soon enough to keep up with Ohio State and potentially get the win?
