5 minute guide to Thursday's sports

With so many great games from the MLB Playoffs to Thursday Night football, here is who, what and where to watch all the action.

Rockies v.s Brewers

Where: 4:07 ct, Fox Sports 1

Starting Pitchers: Antonio Senzatela (6-6, 4.38 ERA) v.s Undecided *

*- Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell has elected to go with the bullpen, saying "There aren't going to be hard, fast rules on how we use our pitchers".

Why to watch: Both teams beat the Cubs, who just one week ago had the best record in the NL, in one game playoffs. Star sluggers Nolan Arenado, Charlie Blackmon and Trevor Story will clash against Lorenzo Cain, Christian Yelich and Mike Moustakas, in one of the best series of the 2018 season.

Dodgers v.s Braves

Where: 7:07 ct, MLBN

Starting pitchers: Anibal Sanchez (7-6, 2.38 ERA) v.s Clayton Kershaw (9-5, 2.73 ERA)

Why to watch: This pitching duel will be low scoring, but feature lots of strikeouts. Sanchez has 135 K's on the season, and Kershaw, who is a strikeout master, has 155 in 2018.

Thursday Night football: Indianapolis Colts v.s New England Patriots

Where: 7:20 ct, FOX

Quarterback matchup: Andrew Luck (9 TDs, 3 INTs, 1126 yds) v.s Tom Brady (9 TDs, 4 INTs, 918 yds)

Why to watch: The Patriots haven't looked like a super bowl team, and Andrew Luck played great in the overtime loss to Houston, so an upset is possible. Overall, the quarterback matchup will be a exciting one to see, one we haven't seen in 2 years.
